I dug up my user's manual just the another night to address a problem I had. If you contact me and still need a copy of it I will scan it and email it to you. It is a good reference on how to run the heater but doesn't say much about troubleshooting problems. To learn about that you have to email Honeywell, which I did, and haven't received a response yet.

Type in thermostat model number
Click on arrow to right
Then click on the PDF files owners manual / installation instructions
If you can't find what you want, the bottom left and bottom of web
Page, they have homeowners assistance and Home products to get the help you need.
This model# is the closet we'll are gonna get unless I can find my manual and get it scanned.
Scroll down to page 4.These instructions will give you a basic idea how this heater works.
