If you have allowed the same size allocations for the locations in the kitchen to the advertised sizing of the appliances then there should be no problem but I know from past experience some ikea things are of different to normal sizes however, i would be very surprised if they have custom made appliance sizes.hope this helps.

Turn fridge into freezer

Not really. UCR means under counter refrig. It could freeze some products, like lettuce, but the unit will not function for long periods of time as there is not defrost cycle and it will freeze up.

New fridge freezer isgetting very hot on both

This heat is normal. The refrigerator you have in your kitchen will have the condenser coils which get very hot on the bottom or back of the frig. A deep freeze has the condenser coils inside the walls of the freezer. Hot temps are normal when it is running.

Try to leave an inch or so of space around it for air flow and that will help.

Fridge and freezer both freezing

If your control is not turned up too high you likely have an insensitive one. In this case it needs to be replaced with a new one, not too serious.

Water Dripping Inside

Sounds like a blocked defrost drain. By "American" I presume you mean side-by-side.
I had a similar problem with a freezer-on-top style Samsung. The solution to that was to defrost the freezer, remove the false backing plate in the freezer (required removal of the ice cube tray. the panel just pops out with a bit of pulling). The drain hole beneath the freezer coils was blocked with ice. This drain passes down into the fridge and then out the back of the fridge into the evaporation pan next to the motor. There is a collector pan under the freezer coils, this and the drain hole were filled with ice. When the freezer goes into its self-defrost cycle the water collects here and then overflows into the fridge.
I removed the ice with hot water/vinegar mixture (so it doesn't re-freeze immediately) and simultaneosuly used a bit of chiselling with a screwdriver to clear the drain plug. I did this from inside the fridge working up the drain hole into the freezer. The whole job took about an hour.

Fridge Freezer

The hinges at the top and bottom have screws. These may be hidden under a plastic cover which can be pried off. The water and wiring, will have disconnects at the bottom of door. Take the top ones off and lift the door up.
