User Manual OR how to adjust the picture settings...Picture on TV is Cut Off

I can not find my user manual anywhere and I searched online through the Samsung website where you can search for your user manual and it wasn't there. I was wondering if there is a similar model number to this one that might have the same user manual that I can download. I need it because I am having a problem with the picture on the screen. It seems to be cut off all around the edges if not mostly on the bottom. When I watch football games and they post the score on the bottom, I can't see it. I know you have to adjust the picture somehow, but my remote does not allow me to get into those settings and I am wondering how. I just need either a user manual or a way to fix my cut off screen. Thank you!

SOURCE: User Manual OR how to adjust the picture settings...Picture on TV is Cut Off

Normallly, if the picture size button on the remote for the television does not achieve the desired affect, then, a cable box or a satelite box is where the change needs to be made.
For example:
A Motorola Cable box needs to be set up to go to a wide screen or zoom when an analog signal is detected.
Some Dish Network boxes have Size buttons on their remotes and also in their main menu.
It's difficult to determine the repair without knowing the types of the peripherals.
Hope this helps.

My Toshiba tv #32A33 WAS MOVED & RECONNECTED with the picture having black across the top & bottom having shrunk the picture, How can I adjust the black out?

Check whether it has been set to 'Wide' mode. If so, set it to normal. Refer its user manual for details. If this setting is OK, the vertical scan output section circuit to your TV should be troubleshooted. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Picture size

I found the user manual online, and the pictures in it are really helpful and make this make a lot more sense, but:
1. Press [SCREEN MODE], to switch the TV aspect ratio.
2. Press [SCREEN MODE] repeatedly until the normal screen displays.
NOTE: • Some programs may not offer all display mode options.
4:3 Programming
[Sidebar] Sidebar displays a 4:3 picture at its standard 4:3 size. Sidebars will be displayed on the right and left edges of the screen.
[Full] Full displays a 4:3 picture at a 16:9 size, with horizontal elongation necessary to fill the screen.
[Cinema] Cinema displays a 4:3 picture at a 16:9 size, with less horizontal elongation necessary to fill the screen because a little bit of the top and bottom edge of the screen will be cut off.
[Wide] Wide displays the center of the picture as original size and the outer sides of the picture will be elongated. The size of the picture will depend on the original signal.
16:9 Programming
[Full] A picture is displayed at 16:9 size as it is.
[Zoom] Zoom displays a 16:9 picture without changing its horizontal and vertical ratio, at its maximum size.
[Cinema] Cinema displays a 16:9 picture with vertical elongation.
[Expand] Expand displays a 16:9 picture with horizontal elongation

How do I set the aspect ratio on a Symphonic WF20L6

There is no aspect ratio adjustment can be seen in the user manual of your TV. Try change the aspect ratio of the picture by PC. If you are interested to get a copy of the user manual to your TV, send your email address to me, and get a copy of it by return mail.

Sony sets will have good picture quality. There is no doubt about it. Check your picture settings. Download the user manual to this set, and refer it. Make sure that all picture settings are correct.
Click here to download the user manual to your TV.

Tv picture is getting too big for the screen. Can the picture size be reduced?

Hi, well this is most likely a Aspect Ratio issue, this can be set via the TV's Menu. You simply need to adjust this aspect ratio, to suit you viewing requirements.
It is all explained how to do this in your user manual, link provided below. http://www.devicemanuals.com/guide/Television/Symphonic/Symphonic-ST420FF-20-TV-Owner's-Manual-T0RVek16az.html

I have a 42LG30 and the screen size is two big and I cant seem to find out how to manually resize it. The piture on the screen is two wide on the sides and the picture has a streched look as well

Ok just to clarify, your saying you use to be able to manually adjust the aspect ratio and now the option isn't available anywhere? and the setting doesn't exist in the manual? Are you sure it was a tv setting and not a setting for a device that was being output to the tv?
Thanks,
Lee
