MAke sure your flu is not making any 90degree turns. Use 45degree turns only. Error 99 is a combustion error. Usually referring to a blocked/obstructed flu. That said, a flu wit a lot of 90degree turns can act like restrictions to tankless heaters. If the flu i straight and clear, then you have a burner problem. Somethign you want Noritz to deal with.

Error code 99 is a non specific error code a sort of catch all. Remove the lens and clean the contacts (lens and camera), remove the battery and the memory card. Leave the camera in this state for about 10 mins, enough time to discharge any build up of charge or static. Reinsert the battery and the memory card and reattach the (cleaned) lens switch on leave for 5 seconds and press the shutter button to see if this has cleared to problem.

This fusible link may be open. Try jumpering the two leads and see if the unit operates. If it does replace the fusible link. Do not operate the unit without the fusible link for an extended period. It is a safety device and is there for a reason. Hope this helps.

You need to remove the lens and clean it . Place it properly . If it is not placed properly you will receive this error .

Error 99 is Canon's generic error code. It means there is a problem in the shutter, mirrorbox, flash, and/or lens.

The E-99 code refers to a "Disc Mechanism Error" for all Kenwood systems. This essentially means that either the magazine is messed up (if you're using a multi-disk system) or the CD loader on a head unit is malfunctioning.
