Television My television has no color. The picture is fine but it's in black and white. What could be causing this? Thank you.

Just check your colour system.And change it on Auto.Hopefully it will help you.

I have a samsung model #HL-R4266W tv, It is making a humming sound, and has no color other than it being in black and white the picture looks fine, what could be the problem?

This tv design have a colors wheel in it,have humming sound or loud motor noises.The colors flashes Black&White or lost all colors.The colors wheel is dying and the causes.The colors wheel replacement are not a do it ur self project.Hire a tv Tech. to do it right the first time.Colors wheel sit way back close to the Light Projection Engine itself.

Color poor, essentially black & white

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This issue is caused by failed convergence ICs. I don’t think the issue is with the power supply of the unit as the sound is coming fine from the unit. Please also check the convergence board for cracked solder. If you want to do the repair yourself there are repair kits available which includes instructions on how to replace them. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

satelliteand cable TV is only comes in black and white.
this a HTML type plug or a coaxial
select menu and source
very weird... should default to colour

if no luck try plugging in a desk top digital box tune using that

Samsung HLN5065W only displays black & white picture

Hello,This problem denotes a defective color wheel, I would not suggest that you attempt to change it becuse of the risk of causing more damage. Rear Projection Tv Problem! black and white... Please help

go into menu turn color off see if you have a black and white picture if not adjust red,green, and blue screen drive on controls in back of tv you have red, green, blue it will have focus /screen controls cover each tube do one at a time blue focus and screen drive adjust to clear blue picture do all 3 tubes, then adjust them to where you have a black&white picture once this is done turn color controll back on.Thank You for using FixYa and Have a Nice Day.
