You can turn off confirmation report in USER TOOLS/FAX FEATURES/KEY OPERATOR SETTINGS/USER PARAMETERS Each user parameter has a set of switches, and each of the switches consist of eight bits, whose value is 0 or 1. The right most bit is bit 0 and the left most bit is bit 7. Once you are in USER PARAMETERS select switch 3, set bit 0 to 0 and set bit 5 to 0. To toggle between 0 and 1 for bit 0, press the 0 key. To toggle between 0 and 1 for bit 5, press the 5 key. Bit 0 sets the confirmation report for memory TX Bit 5 sets the confirmation report for immediate TX. Robert

Yes. SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin and Web Image Monitor let you remotely view a device's transmission history as well as its saved destination data. You can install SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin from the CD-ROM that was included with your device, or download it from the device's website. However, SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin can only be used on a computer which has the TCP/IP protocol correctly installed. Once you have confirmed that SmartDeviceMonitor is installed, to confirm that your fax was transmitted properly, follow these steps: 1.Open SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin by clicking [Start] on the taskbar, pointing to [All Programs] and then [SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin], and then clicking [SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin]. 2.Click the device whose information you wish to display. 3.On the [Tools] menu, click [Load Fax Journal]. 4.When Web Image Monitor opens in your web browser, click [Job], click [Fax History], and then click [Transmission].
