try all the defaults the last four digits of the phone number last programmed to the phone then standards defaults for all phones are 9999,1234,4321,0000,1111 if none are successful you will have to hook the phone to a charging station which is at the verizon wireless store I do believe they still have the software if they dont they will need to replace the phone either by upgrade to a verizon phone (two year contract) or activating an old phone you own or bought online elsewhere or got from a friend etc. or insuarnce claim which is fifty bucks and they give you the same model i have to say of all the razors thats the good one so if you do go with insuarnace i wouldnt accept anything else they might throw at you as comparible its not
RAZR v3m is not compatible with T-Mobile, as it is a CDMA phone, used on services such as Verizon, Sprint, Cricket, etc. The v3m is not a GSM phone and does not have a SIM card, and therefore cannot be used on GSM services such as T-Mobile and AT&T (Cingular).
T-Mobile does have a RAZR v3, but it is not a v3m. The v3m is similar to the v3s, which is also a CDMA phone, but adds a micro SD card to store music and photos on.
The only way to sync is if you have the sd card in,and you can only sync the sd card, if you did not have verizon, you could use motorola phone tools and sync everything, but verizon turned off transfer in your phone because there thieves, but if you learn how to hack a razor you can use moto phone tools.
you need to have the phone's firmware reflash.....you need to take the mobile to a service center or professional mobile tech and have them reflash it at a small fee for you.
My friend, Verizon is the worst company that makes bluetooth useless, The reason why this is? is because Verizon has its V cast music going, so they disable verizon phones to be able to transfer music or pictures phone to phone via blue tooth, this sucks i know, i dont think u can even put music using motorola phone tools as verizon phones has a totally different interface,
First let me say that calling Verizon tech support is a frustrating process to say the least. I have spent hours on the phone with three different reps, all with different levels of knowledge on the subject. But I'm beginning to digress - Bottom line, calling Verizon tech support is hit-or-miss.
After multiple attempts of installing and uninstalling the rhapsody software, the vcast software and the phone drivers onto my laptop with and without the phone plugged in, I was still not getting my phone to connect. So after I was just about through with Verizon reps, I called Rhapsody tech support, and they insisted it was a phone issue. Having no where else to turn, I drove to the verizon store to DOWNGRADE the phone to something simpler, when their highly trained personnel actually diagnosed the problem.
Turns out the nothing was wrong with my laptop, or wire, or USB, but rather the only way to get the phone to connect was to bring it to the store and have VERIZON update the software on it. You cannot do this over the airways using 228. They must do it there. Actually, there have been four updates to this phone's software since I bought it only 4 months ago (I had version "4" and they are up to version "8"). After the software update, the phone connected and now I am able to drag and drop to the phone shown in the same pane as "my library."
