The power light blinks 5 times then stops then blinks 5 times and just keeps repeting.
Make sure your cable input is in properly. The TV might be going into a sleep mode if it not getting an input signal

You need to replace your bulb. Order a replacement online---it's easy to swap and the instructions are in your manual. If you purchase one from a local dealer you will pay over $150 more!!!

As I was doing the test I looked at the blinking light agian. What I have is when truned on the green light come on for about 2 seconds then blinks 4 short blinks, then repetes one lone 4 shrot blinks. I hook up a DV player to the set and it did the some thing. I am about ready to put this set in the trash.
