Screen patch The problem with my monitor is that It starts normally , screen ok perfact but after few minutes a discloured patch appear at the bottom left corner of the screen. it covers 10 to 15 percent of screen area . it has somewhat reddish or whittish glow and the colours of screen objects looks distorted.

try to load your os once again

go into power settings and set it to never go to sleep. and even change the settings on the monitor to sleep too.

If the previously captured images are appearing fine in the Camera, then the issue is with the CCD Image Sensor unit only. Check if the display icons are appearing normally on the Camera screen.

Try power resetting and Factory resetting the Camera to check if the issue can be resolved:
Power reset:
Remove the batteries from the Camera.
Press and hold the POWER BUTTON of the Camera for 15 seconds.
Then, reinsert the batteries after 1 minute.
Factory reset;
To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera to OK.

Home-->Settings-->Main Settings 1-->Initialize-->OK

Hi,

• Make Sure the cable or connected properly.
• Restart the Computer
• As soon as you restart Tap F2 key.
• You will get BIOS screen.
• Check whether you have same problem on the screen. If you have same problem on bios screen. it problem with the monitor.
• If not with the computer Software.

First check your num lock key led if it on and off when you press num lock then your cpu gives diaply to monitor perfact.
Then check your display connection from monitor to cpu.
When you power up the computer pressF8 ket then enter in enable vga mode.Then go to control panel -> display->property ->settings.
Then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok .
But if you still not get dispaly then

-> Open cpu cabinet.
-> Refix RAM meory clean all dust from motherbord chip set .
-> pull cmos cell for 15 minutes.
-> Reattch ATX power supply to motherbord.
-> Refix processor it is bottom of processor fan.

dont panic do the following sir
--> left click ont he screen
--> go to properties
--> click on desktop tab
--> click on 'Customize Desktop' bottom left side
--> click the icons you want to appear on desktop on 'Desktop Items' Window
--> dont press ok yet
--> click on web tab on the same window
--> un-check all the checked items
--> click ok
--> click ok again
--> you will se the items on screen.

The simple patch that I found (same problem) was to start by using any old monitor that I could borrow to set up my Dell Laptop.
After getting the Laptop booted on a regular monitor I right clicked on the desktop and went to properties then to the settings tab.
Here I found the dual monitor settings (#2 will usually be dis-abled by default.)
Click on #2 monitor and set the resolution to the lowest number (800 x 600 works well)
Then I clicked on "make this monitor my primary monitor"
As soon as I clicked apply the PC Windows screen appeared on the Polaroid TV screen

Earlier I had set the secondary monitor as "extend this screen to this monitor"
This also worked but I had to "drag the current screen to the right all the way off the
"borrowed monitor" until it appeared on the TV screen. The mouse pointer will be there also.
At first it took a little getting used to but in a few minutes I was up and running.

The same problem w/ my viewsonic E70 17" monitor.The viewmeter or viewmatch color on screen do not appear when power ON, although the green led power is ON.

But if you rest your monitor for about 10 hrs or more the viewmeter will appear when you power ON the monitor.

You can now start your CPU.

Remember : No viewmeter screen on monitor when power ON, means no supply coming out the picture tube or high voltage.

But if there is Viewmeter on screen , this normal and OK>

try it with another computer. if the same result turn up.try top reinstall the os. if still the same check the display card. If still the same it may be defect in monitor's logic board.
