Question about Panasonic Audio Players & Recorders
I have a panasonic portable vcd/audio cd/mp3 player. when it is kept in normal position it is showing no disk. but when i keep the player 180 degree rotated(up side down) it is playing the same cd with out any problem. again if i keep it in normal position it stops playing(for mp3) but for audio/vcd as it keeps rotating, it keeps playing (after bringing it to normal position). what is the reason and sollution? for some cds it plays with out any problem even in normal position.
SOURCE: vcd/mp3 player always says "no disc"
First try and clean the laser with a Q-tip with rubbing alchol on it. gently wipe the lens with the Q-tip. Then allow to dry for a couple of seconds. Try again if problem persists. Try to get the disc spinning wth your finger. While spinning clockwise close the lid and see if it takes off. If it does you have a bad spidle motor and it will need to be replaced. If it does not respond to either. I would consider replacement. The cost to repair by the time you pay a tech and parts you could get a new one with warranty. Generally if these need more than just a cleaning most people just replace due to cost of repair.
