You need to go to the store and buy Samsung S730 A-DATA 4GB SDHC Memory Card (Class 4)
It is worth about 8-20$. The memory card is used to save pictures. Here is an example: http://www.cellularfactory.com/camera/SAMSUNG/3/46100/

SOURCE: Camera says "memory full," but there's no pictures...

I had this problem, I don't know how it happened. I have the samsung digimax s500, this is what I did. 1 press menu 2 go to 'setup' 3 scroll down to 'format' 4 click right and scroll down to 'yes' that fixed mine, good luck

SOURCE: camera says my memory is full

It can only take a 2gb memory card. anything higher than that it won't be able to use. The reason it's saying the memory is full is because it's still using the built in 15mb (something like that)

With the card out of the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, insert the card and do the same thing.

SOURCE: I put a new memory card in the camera and it says

You need to eliminate the pics from the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your card and do the "format" thing again for the card. Everything should be normal now.

I've had the Samsung L200 with the same Panasonic 1GB memory card for the last 3 years and it's been great, but all of a sudden today it started saying 'memory full' after only taking a few...

The camera is telling you that the internal memory is full. To get your card to work, you must clear it. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, your card should work unless you formatted it in the computer, in which case you'll have to format (completely erases it) it in the camera.

Hello from Bulgaria :) can you tell me the settings for optimal quality of taking pic with samsung S730? because sometimes when i change it to manual or ASR the picture quality is awfulll... thanks

That depends on the subject matter and, more importantly, on what YOU want the picture to say. Usually for landscapes you'd want a deep depth of field while for portraits you'd want a narrow depth of field. You wouldn't want a picture taken outdoors on a sunny day to have the same mood as a picture taken at night. That's why there are so many settings. If there was such a thing as optimal settings for all pictures, we might not need anything other than on/off switch and the shutter release button.

Again, YOU must decide the settings (even if it's only to hand control over to the camera in one of the automatic modes). You and I could be taking pictures of the same thing at the same time using the same type camera, and there's a good chance we'd be using different settings. It's not that one set of settings is better or worse than the other.

How do I download pictures from the camera's internal memory. Pictures were taken when memory stick was removed..

Press MENU to display the menu. Press Right to select Setup (the icon looks like a toolbox). Select "Copy." This will let you copy all pictures from internal memory to a memory stick.

My sony dsc-s730 camera comes up with file error and a blue screen when i look back at some pictures taken, i keep losing really good pics to it how do i fix this?

Format memory card and check, if problem exist then replace memory card in camera.
Note: Format will delete all photo data on memory card so copy photo files before format.

Samsung camera s730

Pull the memory card and try the camera (it has a small amount of internal memory- enought to take about 6-10 photos). If it still doesn't turn on sounds like a warranty problem to me...
