Error code F11 and orthers

Where can i find what the error codes mean. I can not find my book and need to know what they mean before I call repairman. F 11 is one that keeps popping up every cycle. It just stops and beeps. I can restart the washer but then it beeps and stops again.

Gailo, F11 is a serial communication error. Communication between the central control unit and the motor control unit cannot be sent correctly. Possible solutions: Check the harness between the two boards for loose connection. Driver motor, main board or motor control board may be bad. I have come across a number of these with loose connections and bad main boards. Put it into a test by pressing drain/spin on the left side. Then press the spin speed button on the right until no spin is lit. Then press the pre-wash button on the right 4 times until 00 comes up in the display. You are now in the automatic test mode. Let it do it's thing about 15 minutes and see if the error comes again. Catriver...post back.

F11 error code

I appreciate the post, dan moore!

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire range is displaying an "F11" error code. Typically, the "F11" error code stands for a shorted keypad. This could be a false error code and the best way to clear any false error codes is to disconnect power from the range for at least ten minutes. If you continue to get an "F11" error code you may need to replace your EOC (Electronic Oven Control), I would recommend having a professional technician come out to properly replace any electrical component to avoid personal injury. Hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

Kenmore gas range F11 error code

The "F11" fault code indicates a shorted button on the electronic oven control. This means the oven control board will likely need to be removed and replaced. You could disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and reapply power. If "F11" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control board (EOC). but if i had your model number i could nail it right on the head with a fix...

Error code f11

I do not know what the error code f11 means on your appliance but I do know that if you cannot find it in your manual you will obtain the information you require from the manufacturer or a reputable dealer or service engineer. If this error code relates to an open door and you are satisfied the door is properly closed then the switch that closes the circuit that permits your oven to operate is not operating. This may be due to the oven door seal stiffness being just enough to keep the switch contacts apart or it may be due to dirt or grease preventing a clean electrical contact being made.

Washer is flashing F and H

F11 and FH are two completely different error codes. "F11" is a Serial Communications error between the Central Control Unit (CCU), the Motor Control Unit (MCU) and/or door latch. The "FH" error is a No Water Detect error code that means the CCU is not detecting ANY water or INSUFFICIENT water during the fill cycle. The following two links explain each error code and some things to look for to diagnose your problem:

"F11" Error:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608695-f11_error_code

"FH" Error:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608753-fh_error_code

Read through the information provided and let me know if you have any questions. I hope this helps you.

NOTE: There is a technical data sheet inside the washer that explains all diagnostics procedures, troubleshooting tips, error code explanations and wiring diagrams. To access, remove the lower toe panel under the door by locating and removing the screws under the bottom front edge. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off. You can prop the two front feet of the washer up for better access to the panel screws (a 2x4 works well for this). The tech sheet should be located directly behind the panel, or affixed to one of the cabinet interior walls. I hope this information is helpful.

Hi

Error F11 means Serial Communication Error i.e. communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly. You need to:
  • Check Wire Harness connectors to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check the Drive system for any worn or failed components
  • Check MCU
  • Check CCU
  • Check Motor
  • Check Wire Harness

  • Error code dl is a Door Lock Error. A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error. You need to check:
  • Door Lock Mechanism broken or removed from the Door
  • Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly
  • Check the wire harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

Hotpoint wt741 f11 what does this mean

    Hotpoint Error Codes.

Hotpoint washing machines are among the most common found in the Uk and like any mechanical device they will occasionally breakdown or develop a fault and need repairs.
Being a very popular make means that most parts supplier will keep there parts in stock and because so many suppliers keep Hotpoint parts stock this also drives competition hence driving down the price of parts if you should ever need them

One problem many people including some engineers face when faced with a faulty Hotpoint washer is knowing what the error code mean, so here are a list of error codes and there meanings for Hotpoint washing machines

These error codes can some times have a E in front of the number and not a F as shown here, but the meaning of the code is still the same

    # F11 - This means there is No hot fill. The ambient temperature is probably below freezing perhaps due to the plumbing becoming frozen. Also verify that the taps are on or if the drain hoses are kinked.

Could you tell me what F11 code means?

F11 error code means there is a problem with the Control panel. Could be melted wiring, etc, since you left the oven standing. However, you can try unplugging the device from the power socket for about 5 minutes and reconnect. If the error goes away, then well and good; if not, you may have to replace the panel control.
