I have a sony trinitron colour tv (super trinitron wide product number is kv-32ws2u we came back off of holiday , when we re-plugged the tv in and turned on the power came on (the sound was as normal) but there is no picture and no sound, the standby indecator flashes twice and the goes off for 3 seconds and then flashes twice and continues to do this. i can not find any indecation of the problem in the manual I have tried turning off for 10 seconds but the same result. please let me know if there is a solution or I have to invest in a new one, cheers mark

The 2 bilnks is a fault code for a (b+ overcurrent), you could have a bad horizontal output check q506 or q505, varies by modle. I have also run into a bad color amp ic1751. use a multimeter to test the h. o/p transistor, as for the ic, easier to replace than test.
