Hitachi 57SWX20B 57 in has no power but when you plug it in you hear the sound of a relay no LED's light up, Have replaced the power supply with a new one and still same problem, this TV was taken to a service where they said it was the standby circuit that was the problem, but isn't the standby circuit part of the power supply? Thanks for any help would be appreciated.

you need to open the tv up and take out the internal fuse or fuses...go and get the right type of fuses...(the fuses will be made of glass and the same size of a plug fuse) DO NOT USE PLUG FUSES....if that fails then you need to take it to the tv repair man
hi, you might get lucky and have a locked up micro, un-plug the ac cord for 1 minute and then plug back in, this will do a hard, set-re-set of your tv. If still dead then power supply has been damaged and you`ll need a tv tech to diagnose it, good luck, video-tek
f you had multiple power outages, i would contact the power company
or/and insurance company and it should be covered under that, but
sounds like power supply problem if you had power surges
if lighting cause it then it could be anything.
