Projector will turn on but wont put out a picture

I have the same exact problem.
My projector powers on fine, and the standby light turns green. The lamp powers on for about 2 seconds, then it shuts off. After another 2 seconds, the "lamp" led blinks red once, then the projector goes into standby mode, and the fan turns on. I have the same exact problem.

Exact same issue here.  Optoma tech support says it is probably the lamp but I've only logged 20 hours or so on the projector so I find that difficult to believe. Ditto. I turn on the projector and the lamp light signals red for one blink and then the projector fan turns off. I spent $300 and replaced the lamp and the same thing happens! I never got a lamp warning the first time.

1. Power on

2. Optoma logo shows on screen and component connections begin

3. Red "LAMP" light shows solid

4. Goes into standby mode



Thus far I have not found Optoma customer services or technical people to be helpful.

I purchased a new replacement lamp and am having the exact same problems.

Does this mean both my lamps are in fact perfectly ok?

I would also like to know exactly what the fault is with the projector and whether it is cost effective to repair it?. Please and thanks.

I do have the same problem with Optoma EZPro 719.

The projector will turn on, the lamp kicks on and then kicks back off.

The fan runs but no picture will come out.

The red "Lamp" led is on.

The lamp had less than 60 hours on it.

I perchased new lamp.

Replacing lamp didn't fix the problem. I do have the same problem with Optoma EZPro 719.

I have ep719, have same problem, of not lamp and fan issue, it shut off, no picture. replaced lamp, but still noot working, I wonder EP719 has defected power board issue. I think it is manufacturer' defect.
