You need a parallel cable to connect to the back of the KX-P1121and into the Parallel Port on the back of your Compaq System. You then install the driver and install it on LPT1. That is all, it should work perfectly at that point.

There is a driver on Windows Update.

Panasonic KX-P1121 Drivers are included in Windows XP. Go to Contral Pannel, Add Printer and Install.

i dont think Vista OS is compatibke with this unit ..go to this link to verify. perhaps Panasonic has a fix or patch to allow Vista to run on it--
