Do I put the barlow in the spot where my eyepiece goes? Because it doesn't seem to fit right - it is kind of wobbly.

The erecting prism can be used for both terrestrial and star gazing-- put it innto the scope first.
The 3x barlow probably will NOT be very useful... it triples the power of any eyepiece. Your small scope cannot go much over 100 power-- before the image degrades.
Put the eyepiece with the BIGGEST number written on it into the erecting prism which you previously stuck into the scope... now go outside during the daytime and practice focusing on a distant object.
The bigger the number on the eyepiece the LOWER the magnification.

A telescope like that has a very narrow depth-of-field, so you need to focus very, very slowly to be able to see any image. Try focusing on something bigger (like a spot on the moon) and adjust the crosshair accordingly. The two eyepieces gives different magnification.

.965 eyepieces are readily available on ebay. A meade 25mm MA (modified achromat) is about $10 plus shipping This will give you 700mm/25mm= 28x power. Avoid any eyepiece marked with a H (Huygens) as they have terrible field of view.
.965 is not a popular size anymore and Bushnell does not make very good telescopes. Don't get frustrated, if you are still interested, buy a Meade, Celestron, Orion quality telescope.

My telescope came with a barlow lens, but it does not seem to fit correctly. I took out the eyepiece and placed the barlow lens in the focusing tube, then I put the eyepiece in my barlow lens. I that the correct setup? The problem is that the barlow lense doesn't fit snugly in the focusing tube, so I was wondering if I am doing it wrong.
