If you have your keyboard mounted on a stand and you notice that it keeps on swinging from side to side, then that means there's an issue with the stability of the instrument and its placement on the stand.

With the many keyboard stands to choose from, it's so easy to just pick one that looks great or one that seems just the right size, but without looking at the specific dimensions of your keyboard, it's possible to overlook important details and not get the right stand for it.

The key to selecting the best keyboard stand is to measure the dimensions of your keyboard. You should also check the structure and build of the keyboard and see if there are parts meant for mounting and placement on a stand. Knowing these things will help you find the most suited keyboard stand.

If the problem seems to be that the stand provides no support, it could be that the keyboard might have built-in fixtures and snaps that are compatible only to specific types of keyboard stands.

Just add some adhesive Velcro (hook and loop fastener) The industrial rated for 25 pound should be good for most players, 75 pound rated minimum for Jerry Lee Lewis type players.

Set the stand at the height you want, put the hook tape on the stand leg top and then target the fuzzy strip to the piano. Be aware the pound rating is rated per square inch- so you will want to put a 10 or 12 inch strip of fuzzy on the piano, and 1 or 2 inch strips on the stand leg.

Can't connect my ctk-720 to my mac

The Mac needs the driver, and you may need to select it in Chooser as well. If it is not on the instruction disk, it should be downloadable from the manufacturers website.

My keyboard has 2 threaded holes in the bottom that look like they'd be used to attach it to a stand. do I secure it so it doesn't fall off when my dog bumps the stand?

Unless the stand was specifically made for the Casio, the holes probably will not line up with anything. You can COUNT on them being Metric threaded and you have to be careful to not put too long screws in the holes. If you stand doen't line up with the holes, best to secure a piece of plywood to your stand first that is drilled to match the synth and attach the synth to the plywood. I don't know how your stand is made so I can't give you more details.

How do I attach an X frame stand to a casio electronic keyboard

Usually the keyboard sits on top of the X stand held by its own weight. Most of the smaller consumer keyboards do NOT have mounting holes for attaching stands. Piano keyboards that have 88 keys do usually have mounting holes as they are heavier. Most X stands have rubber ends on the tubes where the keyboard sets.

I need to know what driver i need to download and where for my casio ctk - 720 keyboard

The keyboard should stand alone and NOT require any driver. Drivers are for PC's,

Now if you are trying to connect the keyboard to a PC, then that is a different story. You did not mention that.

For tying a keyboard into a PC there are both USB and MIDI connections. You haven't mentioned using either.

When talking to a keyboard you will need music editing software, not a driver. That software you purchase SHOULD have what you need as part of it. There are also editors for the parameters in the keyboard. MOST of that software has to be purchased, although you sometimes can find shareware. Some can be quite expensive.

In Casio Chord mode, the bottom keys up to the second F plays Bass Chords. The Keyboard is just putting the keys you play back into bass when you get up that high. If you read along the plastic edge above where they keys come out of the keyboard, it shows you where the Chord keys end and the Keyboard begins. If you want use of all the Octaves, slide the power switch to the first setting (normal).
