Question about HP LaserJet 3015 All-In-One Printer

Scanner busy!! We have hp Laserjet 3015 printer/scanner. the probem is, it keeps on saying scanner in use/ device busy even if it's not in use. Please help

Hi!!!

try to look on the taskbar
right click on the printer icon then
cancel all printing that are pending!!!

You can download the scanner drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your scanner and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download the drivers: -

I am not sure if I have the proper disk to reinstall my hp LaserJet 3015


From the manufacturer's web-site:

http://support.hp.com

and enter '3015' and select the device-driver appropriate for your Operating System.
Download it.
Install it.

Try this first:

Click start, then in search box type printer. A menu should come up that will permit you to troubleshoot your printer.

You did not indicate whether you were getting an error message or not.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer and if yes, do you have the same problem each time?

Did you attempt to install new drivers for your HP 3015? This may well be the problem.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

And, remember, always include the type of Operating System and the type of computer you own, when you submit your questions. It simply makes for much faster solutions.
