This card only has a VGA, S-Video, and DVI output. There is no HDMI output. It is made by ATI, and only compatible with motherboards that have an Intel CPU. If your Processor is an AMD, this graphics card won't work with your computer.

Hello a1v.... You will need a DVI to HDMI adapter, available at Radio Shack, Walmart, on the internet. This item is usually about $6.00.

If you tell me what operating system you're running (and whether or not it is 64-bit), I can give you more specific information.

If your laptop has a DVI or HDMI output, then the solution is as easy as buying a DVI to HDMI cable, or simply an HDMI cable, because your TV set uses HDMI as an input. If you have a Macbook, there are Displayport to HDMI cables/adapters available.

However, if your laptop only has VGA output, then you must buy a converter. Why? The VGA output available on almost any laptop is an analog signal. Buying simple cable adapters will not make your TV (which reads only digital signals) read the analog VGA signal.

you have to go into control panel hardware and sound, now click on sound, you will see speakers with a green check next to it. on top you will see HDMI enable those and hit test button. this is part of device no worry bout bios or motherboard. Just make sure you use the adapter that came with the video card it will only work with the supplied adapter. Not a dvi to hdmi cable. this will work. i hope this helps and good luck.
