The above link will take you to the Dell Support page for your printer. It has detailed instructions on what you need to do. Please follow them carefully and you should have no problems. And make sure you download the Windows Vista drivers.

I assume the old computer was not Vista

found out I had this problem too when I went to go use my scanner for the first timeon my noew machine. Heres' the link for the driver. UNINSTALL your Dell Printer software prior to the Windows Vista upgrade.

You will have to uninstall all the old drivers first as the pc will use those first then re install new driveres from dell

Download the printer driver from dell web site and try to reinstall. Before reinstall the printer driver you need to uninstall the previous printer driver from control panel->program feature->dell printer

I would Save the files to your computer and install them from there and not Run them from the download page.

Not sure if this is the correct way around, but it worked.  Go to Start --> All programs --> Dell Printers --> Dell Photo AIO Printer 922 --> Dell All-in-one center

From here, you can determine and change your scan settings as needed;  then click "scan now" (thus by-passing the button on the actual AIO machine).  This scanned photos into my picture program so I could email to all the grandparents!
