Question about Zanussi WJD1667W Front Load Washer / Dryer
Bit of a strange one so i hope someone can help...please? First happened yesterday and had an E20 message appear. Turned it off and on and it came back with the machine on pause half way through the cycle...so i unpaused and left it...came back and my mother had visited, and found a similar issue so turned off the machine. When i turned it back on it just had 3 straight lines on the digital readout...and the washing was soaking. So...i put it on a quick fast spin just to dry the washing but it just seemed to go round slow for 4 mins and left it as wet as it started. So...I turned it off and then started it from scratch again over night..(I am starting to think this is a software issue??) and it started fine so i left it. This morning i came back in it had errored again. Turned it off and on again and it was this time flashing on pause and 29mins left showing in the readout. This seems wierd as i am getting errors during the cycle and also it not going into a fast spin as well... Anyone any thoughts? Gratefully appreciated! IAn
Hi there, I've also had this problem a few times. I've found cleaning out the filter can help solve the problem of the E20 message. Also when it doesn't spin fast it usually means the load is uneven. I found it happens with towels or bedcovers, heavier loads, if the load is uneven it will spin slowly for a good few minutes and then just stop with the clothes still dripping. I found rearranging the load more evenly usually sorts it out. I've had my machine for 18months now and usually love it. It washes and dries well, however, my dryer has stopped working again! I'd only had the machine 7 months when the dryer first stopped working another 11 months down the line and it's not working again! Hope this helps. Lelly2003

I know how frustrating it can be when appliances do not function properly.
This particular washer has a test that we can run to see any errors. This can be confusing on this model.
I am including a document below that will describe how to view the old error codes. Use the section that starts with Activating the service diagnostic modes. You can start with the cycle selector knob at any position.
If there are no error codes stored, I recommend that you start from the beginning (step 1 above) and then run the Automatic test mode. If this unit detects a problem, it will display the error at the end of this test.
I hope this is helpful. Post back your results.
