I get 5 blinks on the panel and picture goes out....
I have the InFocus ScreenPlay 61md10 61 in. Rear Projection and once i turn it on after a minute or so, I get 5 blinks on the panel and picture goes out....sound remains. Is it the bulb or a voltage problem? How can i tell?
I tried unpluging the tv and waiting for a while. I get the same result. When the picture is on, it seems vibrant. I mean there does seem to be any loss of brightness or clarity.

Could be as simple as a burned-out lamp, but flashing buttons on the panel mean that it's trying to tell you something's broken, so it might not be just the lamp.
You, sir (mam?), need a manual, or somebody who has one. I do, but it's at home. Perhaps if you responded with how many times the lights flash, I could look it up...
The same thing just happened to me today. I finally disconnected the power cord from my 61md10 for a few minutes, then plugged it back in and turned it on. Not sure how this fixed it, but when I changed the input back to HDMI, the black screen was gone and I was getting a hi def picture again.
