Setting time for citizen eco-drive E764-S066701 HST perpetual movement

No need to take the back cover off or anything like that. You don't need jeweler either. You just need to pull the crown to first "click" and the turn the crown to the right to correspond to the month that you are setting the time in. Between 1 and 2 o'clock represents January. Between 2 and 3 is February and so on. Once you get to the beginning mark of the month you are in, count how many years have passed since the last leap year. If it's 2 then put the second hand to two minutes after even (beginning). If it's three, move it to three minutes after. If it's leap year, you just put on exact (beginning) mark of the month you are in.

That would be it. Like I have said, no need to visit jeweler or do any disassembling. Also, you might this find interesting. The steps above are for E764 calibre. This site gives you manuals for pretty much all of them.

Citizen eco-drive BM8084-58H: I cannot change the date/day on the watch moving the crown.

mcdevito75 here, The crown should be a 2 position crown, try this, pull out the crown as if to set the hands, rotate the hands, (adjust the time) around the dial until you have the right day, Now! push the crown in, Now! slip your finger nail just under the crown and lift the crown to it"s first notch or position, this should allow you to turn the crown and adjust the date, when at the date push the crown back in and your done.

How do I find out on my watch how far from leap year we are .its acitizen eco-drive

Pull out the crown to position 1 and the second hand moves to the month position while the small dial moves to the years since last leap year position.

If you haven't got a manual to fully understand what the indications mean, go to "citizen.com", click on "Technical Support"amd then on "setting instructions".

Enter the number required off your watch and click on "get setting instructions".

I own 3 Citizen ECO watches that have lost their charge.

Hiya Papahay,

are the crowns out at time set mode. This mode activates a 'hack device' ( a small spring in the watch) which will cut power to the circuit.

With the crown out and under light (even a desklamp directly with in a few mms above them) should do the trick.

These capacitors do need replacing, I suggest give the above a go for a least 24 hrs straight and go from there. When there are fully charge all you need to do is pull the crown out to time set mode and leave under light
