You have a relay that's sticking. Open the hood, then fuse box. Turn the lights off, whichever relay is buzzing replace it (they pull out like a fuse). Usually they are around 15-25 bucks at the local auto parts store. Hope that helps.
check the fuse. (see post about control board.)
excerpt: ... the control board is in the front of the hood behind the speed & light power buttons. There is a 3/4" Buss fuse onboard that seems to pop on my hood every few months.
you do have a blown fuse, this car has 2 to 3 fuseboxs, the fuse that holds the dash and park lights is located in the under the hood fusebox, its fuse # 8, heres a diagram of the fusebox in the engine compartment under the hood, hope this helps,
I have a NuTone Allure WS2 range hood. The fan works fine, so does the control board seem ok, but the lights work only intermittently. NuTone tech support said to replace the control board, which I suspect is its kneejerk response. The board costs almost $200--and for two lights???
My problem is similar to the one whose lights work, fan doesn't, but I have a feeling my problem is different.I hope simpler.
Thanks in advance for help (light) on the problem anyone can offer.
Your problem is: This hood worked fine until a light bulb blew out. Put in a new light bulb, but the lights will not turn off. Is the light switch bad or is there a problem with the control panel? The fan still works fine but the lights will not turn off or adjust dim or bright.
You're on the right track. The light control switch needs replacing. You might try utilizing the Repair Directory to find a repairman. If you have the tools and ability just remember to turn off the electric first.
