Dear sir, it has been not even complete three months after I have bought Nokia7610 mobile. It has been very fine so far.But all of a sudden few days back,I got hearing a special sound, something similar to that of the sound coming out from tube lights when they get old and switched on.Though I thought that it was my network problem and rainy season to do with the difficulty, I have found out that the sound occurs whenever the display light is on. The sound goes off when the display light goes off--such as after reading messages or after a phone call is completed. Please find me a proper solution. Also advice me how to approach the shop where I bought it from, since I have the guaranty and warranty cards unexpired, my handset being relatively new. Thank you.
Try to type on your mobile *#7370# to refresh your phone
holddown the *(star) key and also hold the 3 key and ok key (the key by which you call or attend the call ) after holding your these three key press the start botton to power on your mobile (rember that there is no simcard in your phone nor momery card inserted in you mobile) it will start fromatting and your phone will come to original state

I would be naturally curious of the no sound symptom but the no blue light makes this puzzle even more of a challenge.
This unit has some VERY poor power supplies in them, in particular three caps E919,E920 & E921 (680uf/35v) usually fail causing a complete dead condition. But there are also a total of 16 caps in various areas of the supply handling low voltage sources for various other areas of the TV and it would be my suspicion that one or more of those has failed and you might not be too far from a complete failure of the supply when the main three 680uf caps finally short. At least I'd start there...
One other thing has me suspecting the supply. Both the blue light and the audio circuit depend of the +12v source. It's the first area of the supply I'd begin with in a trace.
Hope this helps.
