Question about Jenn-Air JCD2389G Side by Side Refrigerator

Jenn-Air JCD2389G Side by Side... Problem: Leak

I noticed a small puddle of water on the floor in front of the frig. When I looked under the frig, it was dry. I think it is leaking from inside the freezer side. I opened the freezer and at the bottom in the back there is a grille and behind the grille, I noticed some ice. Has anyone come across this problem? Please let me know.

Very common blocked drain to cure unplug appliance defrost then remuve bottom panel freezer side you will find a silver tray with a drain chnnel unblock the hole that should cure it

This is the most common reason that water runs out the door. the defrost drain plugs up and the condensate water will run out the door.

Lately there is a pool of water forming under and in front of the refrigerator . what can we do. It is a side by side Jennair?
The water is from the melted frost of the defrost cycle. The drain at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer is blocked so instead of the water draining into the pan where it will evaperate,it's pooling on the freezer floor and freezing, in many case when the floor indent is full the water will leak onto the floor.By pulling the refrigerator out from the wall,there will be a tube behind the service panel on the right side when looking at it from the rear,that tube can be removed and cleared,then clear the nozzle it connects to inside the freezer.

I have a jenn air side by side and water seems to be leaking near the front left corner area at random times and when it does leak it is a slow drip.... thoughts?
Look in the freezer floor to see if you have ice built up and over flowing into the floor. If so you have a clogged drain line which is located in the freezer behind the lower basket in the litttle gap at the bottom of the back wall. If you don't have that, the water line that runs to the water in the door is located at the front left side as well and you can get to that by pulling off the bottom piece of plastic that runs along the bottom of the whole machine.

If the freezer is staying cold it sounds like a defrost system problem. A bad timer, heater or thermostat can cause frost to build up on the coils and block air flow to the refrig side. Check out ACMEHowTo.com for troubleshooting the defroster problem.
There is a small duct between the freezer and refrigerator side if this is blocked the frig side won't cool.

check the freezer side and see if there is ice under bottom rack and floor if so you have a clogged drain,follow the floor to the back wall and the bottom of back wall panel,there is a drain there,use hair dryer to melt out and then you need a steamer or something to blow out the drain line,check it by pooring hot water in the drain you'll know if you unclogged it if the water drains through

The condensate drain may not be draining into the pan under the fridge or it may have a leak or could even be not connected to the condensate pan in the evaporator.
Another possibility is that your condenser might be dirty or plugged causing the suction line going to the compressor to freeze up and then thaw leaving puddles under the fridge. Clean the condenser (the coil under or behind the fridge) and it should stop.
Over stocking the freezer will cause this as well. If you cover the air return in the freezer the evaporator will freeze up and the suction line will freeze back to the compressor.

My jenn air side by side has water puddling in the bottom of the freezer section. I turn off the water supply going to the icemaker etc. still puddles. Is their a condensation line that could be clogged...
sounds like a drain clog in the freezer compartment above. remove the freezer rear panel and totally defrost the evaporator area, directly under the evap you see( under all taht ice) a small drain hole that has become frozen over, try defrosting with either a hair dryer( not a heat gun too much heat youl melt everything) or by pouring hot water donw the drain until you get a free flow of water down the tube. after its clear reassemble and you should be fine

Side by side refrigerator has puddle under freezer
Check and clean door seal, chech defrost drain tube ad a cup of water and clorine into tube, Check drin pan and clean under refer.
