I believe this is a checksum error. Most likely the CMOS Button Cell Battery is dead and CMOS
memory is now corrupt !.
Replace the CMOS Battery if less then 3.6V. It is located under the Main Battery.

Then reload the latest software !

Hope this solves your problem

Does anyone know what voltage the CMOS Battery is, the one I have in is a CR2303 which obviously isn't the correct battery.
If someone could see if there are any part numbers on the battery installed it would be appreciated.

My printer hiti s420 writes check sum error sdram and show code 197378

Your printer would need a reset and/or repair

hope all electrical outlets and other devices connected to the HiTi are grounded well and you eliminate any static discharge when using the printer.

What are the error codes on my printer,5010 & 6100?

The 5010 error indicates a scanner error. The scanner unit cannot detect the home position, or the scanner unit warming-up is not done properly at power-on. On the LCD, "Scanner is not operating correctly." is displayed.
The 6100 error indicates a logic board error. The check sum value is incorrect in the ROM check at hard-power-on.
Fixing these errors is more expensive than replacing the printer. Sorry.

HOW DO I FIX KYOCERA SUM ERROR CODE F010?

That service code refers to the flash dimm, which is on the main pwb assy (controller). You have to try upgrading the system firmware. If the upgrade procedure fails, then you have to replace the flash dimm.

Oven doesn't work. Panel shows "FFF"

FFF code - Control error, failed EEPROM

The main control operates a series of software commands, which control the various features and functions of the oven. Each function or operation has a numerical value assigned to it. The numerical values can be added up - this is called the check sum operation. Every time the system is powered up and after each clean cycle the system performs a check sum and compares the value to the value programmed into the software (stored in memory).

An EEPROM check sum error or FFF code occurs when the values differ. If this happens, replace the oven control board (also called clock or ERC).

Replace the oven control board (also called clock or ERC).

Hope this helps.

Error code U2 on a AR201 copier

To find out the sub code for the U2 error hold down the Start key. Below is a list of the errors:
U2-04 EEPROM serial communication error
U2-11 Counter check sum error
U2-12 Adjustment value check sum error (EEPROM)
U2-40 CRUM communication error

To clear the U2-40 error try pulling out the toner cartridge and firmly reinstalling it. If that doesn't work you must install a new toner cartridge. There is a CRUM chip on the cartridge that keeps up with how many impressions have been made with that cardridge. You cannot "refill" these cartridges without replacing the CRUM. This problem occurs frequently with remanufactured cartridges.

To clear other U2 errors you must enter simulation mode.
Perform the following procedure to enter the simulation mode.
Clear key - Interrupt key - "0" key - Interrupt key - 16 - Start key - Start key. The unit should reset.
