Front wheel fell off Ultimage G Kirby vacuum

The front with the adjustment lever fell off my Ultimate G Kirby vacuum. Do I need to make sure the height of both front wheels are exact because of the height adjustment lever. If so, how do I make sure they are exactly aligned?

The spring goes inside that pedal that you step on to advance the height. Place that spring in that pedal and then place the pedal into its' groove, then put the axile and wheel assembly over the pedal and put your screws back into the mounting sections.

G series kirby ultimate the wheel fell off and its on the side with the height adjustment....all fell on to floor when it came apart....how does that wheel stay on is there a part missing or do you just...

I cleaned the end of rod and the hole in the wheel, and then forced the wheel back on the rod. A little bit of glue at the end of rod will help to keep wheel stay.

The wheels fell off.

The wheels are held to the axles with small c-clips. Perhaps these have come loose. If the wheel is still attached to part of the axle. The axle has broken and will need replacement.

My Kirby 2000 will not turn on?

No power is usually when there is nothing installed on the front or bag is improperly installed. There are 2 safety switches that must be pressed in order for Kirby vacuum to work. So make sure you have the nozzle on the front and when installing bag assembly - push the plastic bottom part to the vacuum as far as it can go.

I have a kirby ultimate g diamond series. The tech drive lever just fell off. How can I fix this?

Ouch...
You need new pedal assembly. Just Google 558401S . I saw one for $16.10.
You can try to fix it just you would have to install it back at a certain angle. clean shaft very well with alcohol so it is completely grease free and use a drop of superglue. However this is not likely to hold for longer period of time.

Good Luck

Kirby sofa cleaner

Hi, my name is Jon and I have an Ultimate G Kirby and have sold Kirby and the solution to this problem it is very simple. All you have to do is first disengage the belt by lifting the hood and twisting the plastic thing that says Kirby. Twist it all the way till the red arrows meet up then you will know that the belt is disengaged. Next you're going to disconnect the front by pushing the small metal lever/lock under the hood to the right and the front end should come right off. REMEMBER put the vacuum on the highest setting so this will be much easier to do. Then what you want to do is connect to hose and you will do so by connecting the hose in the same manner in which you would connect the front. There is a perch for the hose or any of the other attachments to rest their "feet" on as you will see the end of the hose is contoured to fit the Kirby in the same way the front end does. Lock the hose in place with the metal lever/lock by putting it over to the left. REMEMBER to disconnect the belt when you take off the front end and ALSO to reengage it when you put the front back on. I hope to have solved your problem, and I'll talk to you later!
