The gill is working but the oven is not, not even the oven light or fan.
I have done as suggested in the manual, which is to shut the unit down at the mains, allow to cool before turning the power on again. But no luck. The oven was is use in time of it failing, for about 20 minutes. I set the oven to 200C but the oven thermometer (separate unit) only showed the oven was at 150C
Please can anyone help?

I understand that your Electrolux double oven is not heating up, even though the fan is running. I suggest resetting your appliance, be either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. If further troubleshooting is needed, please leave me your model number, so I am able to better assist. Hope this is helpful.
1 . If yourELECTROLUXfan oven is getting
warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on
one side than the other, then you need to check if your ovenfan motorisworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok.
if the element isheating but thefan motoris notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To
replace the ovenfan motoris alittle more expensive and a bit more involved. 2 . If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis
over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace yourELECTROLUXoventhermostat 3. A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif yourELECTROLUX
oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are
that someone has put the oventimerinto AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all
should be working again.
If it is a fan assisted oven, and the fan is working, then it is likely to be a faulty heating element.
This should be located behind a removeable cover at the rear of the oven compartment.
If the fan is not working as well, then could be a faulty thermostat, even without the element or fan not working, there should be an indicator light on to show that the power is on,
Also make sure the main oven is set for manual operation, and not set on auto, as this will prevent the main oven coming on if it is.
Has anyone done any repairs to the oven lately? It sounds like it's working in reverse. The fan is supposed to come on about 10 minutes after the oven is turned on. The reason I ask this question is if someone did work on it they could have wired the fan relay wrong. If not you have a problem with the oven fan relay. They occasionally short and it wll cause them to run the opposite way they are supposed to.
