Washing machine was either turned off during cycle or just stopped functioning, i released the door catch to open and empty. now all that happens when trying to restart is the lights come on the start button flashes but when pressed the door catch clicks about ten times and then stops and the lights go off.
New door sensor im afraid, unless the machine senses that the door is properly shut none of your wash or spin cycles will start.Sensor located inside washer casing , where lock pin on door handle enters machine. It may just be loose, try tightening the two screws either side of lock keep.If it needs replacing you will need to UNPLUG washer ,remove lid and slide your arm down inside front of washer to access.Good luck.
