Panasonic PT51HX41E The red convergence on station 2,3, 7,&9 will not align up. I have no contol over these. We recently moved. When we plugged it back up we were able to get everything back in alignment for a few days then it went back to not being able to keep it in alignment. What is involved in fixing this? How much (estimated) are these ic's to replace?

I replaced the convergence IC's ic7001 and ic7002 but how do I get into the screen that allows me to make adjustments after replacing those parts.

The convergance on the right side of my screen is off, displaying pink and green lines only on one side of my screen. Everything else seems fine. It has been this way for about 3 days.

I have a panasonic 50 in projection tv When I turn it on, it stay on for about five seconds and then turns off. Any solutions

I have the same model tv...it has a arc of red on the lower left side and i had the ic's replaced and did not fix the problem....any other suggestions

You need remote control that came with tv ,there is a service code menu for techicians only - setting convergence on these sets are not easy.you Must Know what you are doing other wise you can shut set down with bigger problems.Call a repair shop if your not sure.I have service codes but ,i will not tell someone these codes unless they do know How to set convergence.

I have this same problem with the PT51HX41E but in the convergence menu the green and red are allowed to move. but the blue on the right side of the screen is not allowed to move and it looks like its...

My first guess would be a bad convergence amplifier - this is common, although usually all three of the amplifiers in the integrated circuit die at the same time, which throws off at least two colors and creates a "bow-tie" effect. I surmise you have half of a bow-tie in blue only.

If you could look at the blue output waveforms with an oscilloscope, you would see right away if this is the problem (flat-line instead of sawtooth wave). It is possible that both of the blue convergence amplifiers are working, but one output is not getting to the blue deflection yoke.

Don't mess with the convergence anymore until you get this taken care of. Changing the convergence now will only make it harder to get it back to where it should be once the circuit is fixed.

Alignment problem

Convergence are dead.The tv convergence board must be replaced 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors.U know how to solders?Have tools,soldering iron,solders?Tries websites like Tvrepairworld.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy a convergence to repair it ur self.The shop will cost u $300-$350 for parts and labors.

Need to know what convergence chips are in Panasonic PT51HX41E

your model has two STK392-110 CONvergence Cs, you will also most likely need at least a few of the 2.2 ohm 2watt convergence resistors. I am posting a link to the actualrepair kit for your model which contains both Convergence ICs and all 6 of the convergence resistors and they send instructions with pictures that show how to do the repair.

Convergence for HD channels only

Hello, please check the IC7102 (24LC64). This is eeprom that contains the convergence data. Please ask the Panasonic dealer if they can supply a replacement IC with the data for your HD. If you need more info please advice. Arpi

Color guns out of alignment

It sounds to me like the convergence amps themselves have failed. Ic7001 and Ic7002, both are STK392-110 Sanyo built Ic's and not an expensive job for a qualified shop. When shopping around for a shop to repair it ask what they charge for replacement of the convergence amps in this unit. And take the unit to them to save pickup and delivery charges...
