End Button stopped working

The rest of my phone functions as it should, but the End Button no longer works. My phone is not under warranty, so is this something that cellphone repair shops can generally fix? Should I open it up and try cleaning the contact?
If it turns out that the End Button is broken and cannot be fixed, is there any other way to turn my phone off and on? I can deal with not using it to end calls (since I can just close the slider) but not being able to turn my phone off or on is obnoxious.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thats not completely true, it is easier to replace just the top half of the phone but you can replace only the LCD. The repair will probably need to be done by somebody who has some experience doing this becaus it can be rather tedious. But it is possible.

SOURCE: phone stopped working suddenly

This sounds like a flex cable issue. You will need to have a tech examine the device to see if the flex cable needs replacement.

The flex cable is the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the rest of the electronics and allows the slider mechanism to slide and have the device maintain proper electrical connection. After two years it may very well be worn out.

My new combi microwave has been working for about 6 weeks now but will not engage microwave when you push the ok button.

Warranties are void if not serviced by authorized personnel. Return it to seller if under warranty or contact an authorized technician in your area.

Not working buttons

The home button do tend to break, the iphone 3 or 3gs are straight forward to replace the home button. Remove 2 screws from the end of your phone, 1 on either side of your charging socket. Lift the screen from the home button end as there are ribbon cables on the earpiece end of the screen. You then have access to replacing the home button but the iphone 4 and newer model are alot more difficult as the last thing to be removed is the screen and you have to remove the screen for access to the home button. It is a very cheap fix but if you don't know what your doing when taking apart your phone you could cause alot more damage. Have a look at a internet iphone repair video to see if you would be confident of doing the repair yourself. Before you start to take apart your phone make sure it is not under warranty as taking it apart will void any warranty.

My 2008 honda accord xm radio stopped working.

If it is a built in system, which is sounds like it is. Your XM receiver is not functioning correctly. I believe a replacement XM receiver is covered under your warranty if you have one with your Honda dealership.

Hi, I droped my iPhone 4 in water. The iPhone stopped responding. The touch function is no longer working. I would like to know if its possible to repair it and what is the estimate...

It all depends on the extent of the damage. The digitizer is just one thing to stop working. The rest of the phone might go soon, and water damage isn't covered under warranty.
I can get you a website link of parts, but you might just be better off buying another phone.
Here's the link:

The digital functions and display stopped working but the hour and minute hands seem to work fine as does the back light button. Are there two separate batteries for the two functions? Who can repair...

If you recently bought the watch warranty should be in place, the problem is in the electronic timing module, part of the module has failed. I suggest taking it back to where you bought it and if under warranty they should repair or exchange the product.

I am on my second samsung propel in 6 months. this one keeps restarting over and over shutting itself off in between. It is no longer under warranty because it has a scratch on the face that can be felt...

try shutting it off and letting it rest for a while. i have an Alltel Snap and it does the same thing all the time. if it doesnt work, it is probably time for a different phone.

Katana II: my keypad doesn't work.

Six months is well under the manufacturer warranty. Call Sprint or take it into a store.

Centre Sensor no longer functioning

You are need to send it into tissot for a service. You cannot fix this problem on your own. There is a two year warranty for tissot. Hopefully you will be eligible.
