No power This reciever was my dad's, he passed it on to me. It looks like it was dropped or mishandled by the small dent in the back panel. There is no power flowing through the unit, I took the top and back cover off and nothing was visibly broken and the two fuses were intact. Any info or suggestions would greatly be appreciated so i can listen to some good tunes. :) Thanks.

if the oil pan is dented up to where it touches the oil pump the engine is not getting oil rockers are clacking . every time you start the engine you are damaging the bearings if they are not already gone you need to fix it right away drop the pan and bang out the dent with a hammer hope this helps
In New York we have franchise paint shops that will do a reasonable paint job starting at 400.00, you can spend more as you decide on the type of paint you want on the car, the paint shop will give you a complete estimate and break down on this. Our shops are called Mako Paint.
unfortunately, the quarter panel is part of the unibody. if the dent is not too severe, have it repaired at a body shop. if it is larger damage, a body shop can cut and weld a patch. best thing to do is drop by a body shop and have it looked at it.
This depends greatly on the depth of the dent.If it is somewhere in the area of 1/8 inch deep you might be able to Bondo it and seal and paint it. But, if it is any deeper than this anything less than a bodyshop repair will look very noticable. This sounds more like a crease than a dent, and it cannot be popped out without a dent puller. Thanks, Dana
it s easy just look on panel for caps remove with small scerw driver they should just pop out remove all screws there should be 2 near arm rest area and near handle then there are plastic clips just gently pull on panel near clips when panel is loose disconnect wiring for light or power locks window ect. if u have manual window u need tool to remove window handles
Hello carillon553,
If you haven't compromised the door opening or inner compartment, then it is more than likely OK to use. The magnetron ( which generated the microwave energy ) has a waveguide that focuses that energu into the cooking compartment and a small dent to the cabinet normally has no impact on its safety.. Hope that helps..
If you are overly concerned with that, then you would need a technician that has an RF Power Meter to check it.. If it were me, and the dent was small.. I would just use it...
Regards,
Rick
if it picks up paper then say's jam you most likely have a very small piece of paper still jammed.look for a dent in the paper you pull out,if there is a dent then that's probably the problem.look where dent is on paper and that is where you should look for the piece that's causing the jam,if that does'nt solve problem i would need more info
