Re: I have windows Media center, I cant get my zen m30gig...
Make sure you have media player 11 If you can, the best test is to try your player with another PC, to see if you still have the problem. This localises whether the problem is with the PC (most likely the USB) or the player. See the link below (search on "connection problems") for a lot more troubleshooting on this. Download recovery tool off creative's website. go to my computer > click on hardware tab >
click on device manager button > in the is next screen on the bottom should have>>universal serial bus controllers
(write these down just in case it cant find them)
right click on them and uninstall
reboot let windows reinstall them Also told Microsoft hotfix causes this problem try uninstalling the last hotfix If that doesn't fix it trythe USB cable

add me at face book and send me a message if you know one ^_^ thanx
freezes when?hold the play button while powering on the zen, this ll put it onto recovery mode, try cleaning up first,if your player still keeps hanging then upgrade the firmware......you'll find it on creative site..
As a first try though, I think it sounds like there is a library issue on the player itself. Try a hard reset (push an opened-out paperclip into the reset hole on the side). This should then mean that the player re-builds the library of existing files when you next turn it on.
Try this...Push a pin into the reset hole at the bottom of the player while at the same time holding down the play and power buttons. Next on the recovery screen that shows up, run the ":clean-ip" function. Then try again to import the music files.
after you dowload a song exit out of limewire the click on the start at the bottom oc your pc then click on search and type in the song when it pops up click on it to highlight then right click it then click on copy to creative zen then let it load then go to creative zen media explorer click on add media then click on add unknown artist and then under it it should say add unknown song then click on it then click on add media and then there you go
