Question about Canon MP-25DV Calculator
I have no access to a manual, unfortunately. I recently started a job where the Canon MP25DV was already in the cubicle I was assigned to work in. I'd like to set the clock and calendar, and it's not obvious from anything written on the calculator itself how this is done. Any helpful hints will be appreciated.
On the bottom of your calculator is a reset button, with a paperclip or a pen press that button. Then, press the calendar, clock key. next, press the equal sign key until the date is flashing type in the date using 11172006. press the equal sign again and the date is set. Next press the calendar, clock key again the time should show up (12-00-00)press the equal sign again until the time starts to flash. enter in the time using 0903 (9:03) press the equal sign again. Time is set. to display the date and time when not using the calculator, press the calculator, clock key 2x's. to go to compute mode press the red CE/C button.

To set date
1. Push the date/clock button once
2. Push and "hold" the (Time Set) button 3 seconds until the 1st digit of the date (month) starts blinking (similar to a digital watch)
3. Use the key pad to set the month, day, and year
4. Push the (Time Set) button
5. Push CE/E button to return to calulator mode
6. Push the date/clock button and it should show the date you set in # 3
To set time
Similar to above except push date/clock button twice to show time and get started.

Just press and hold equal button after calendar/time button is pressed. Time or calendar will be flashing; use right arrow to navigate.

Thanks, greeneyes! To change the AM to PM, hit the x button, if anyone needs to know. I did not see that above.

Thank you greeneyes! I have a model MP27D and have been trying forever to get the date to work. I finally found this and the procedure is the same. I never thought to look on the bottom.

SOURCE: How do you set the clock/calendar on the Canon MP25DV?
The trick is to hold down the time set button (=) until the time flashes and once the new info is entered, press time set and it will stay. same with the date. You kinda need to play around with it. Thats how i learned.
