Question about Hoover HF7 160E Front Load Washer
My machine fills at the start of the program and turns as normal. the machine then clicks through the program cycles several times before stopping completely. If I turn the machine off and turn dial before turning it back on again it will either fill or empty whilst spinning but quickly stops and doesn't do anything.I'm not especially technical but any tips would be gratefully received. Thanks.
The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.

The timer could be sticking OR: Is the machine empty of water when it stops? This information may help solve your problem?

I would recommend that you consider replacing the washer, as it certainly sounds like a faulty programme control, and they are expensive
The motor itself must be o/k, otherwise it would not function at all

SOURCE: Hi, we have a Hoover
there is a tacho on the motor that controlls the speed you cant just get the tacho you have to replace the whole motor

Testimonial: "Thanks for that- is the tacho a rotating magnet on end of armature shaft that interacts with a small coil with two wire connection?"
