When I turn on my computer with the power supply to the monitor present there is no display. And if I restart my computer again by pressing the restart button( may be a few times) then the monitor starts displaying. Sometimes if I switch the monitor on after switching on the PC at a " particular instant" then the diplay starts coming up but that is not always the case. Previously I had a CRT display monitor even that had the same problem, at that time I presumed that it was the old monitor that was giving me the problem and so I changed it with a newly bought samsung TFT but the problem continues. I have even upgraded and downloaded the device drivers for the specific monitor that I have purchased from the official samsung website but that did not help as well. Please suggest me a solution to this problem. I am afraid this frequent restarting of computer will corrupt my system. Thanks
If I were you I would invest in a new video display card. Sounds your card is intermittant, because the chances of a tube type display and a TFT display having the same problem is slim to none. LOL Good Luck Please dont forget to rate this thread
