How do I load staples into my JT21 staple gun?

At the end of the stapler opposite where the staplers are driven out is a release.

Push it in and turn it and it should come out with a long spring

Load your staples, put the spring back and lock it.

Just bought and tried to load my Swingline Smart Touch low force stapler. Don't know how to get it opened

I have one of these models. Just push the gray lock mechanism at the end of the stapler and the loading magazine will pop out. The chrome plated magazine opens towrds the front....it slides forward and backwards.

I have an ACE aircraft aluminum stapler... I bought Ace Heavy Duty Staples 3/8" 10mm Narrow Crown Arrow T50 staples but cannot get the arm to load with them on it.

Possibly you are trying to load it from the back with the arm out. This way does not work. With this stapler you must pull the arm out all the way and then drop the staplers in the bottom. Too easy, right? I felt like a dumb a$$ after fighting this one for an hour. By the way, it will take heavy duty staples but you need to match the item codes printed on the side of the stapler with the box at ACE hardware. Hope this helps... You need to load just enough staples in it that when you put retaining spring and clip back in that it will let catch on back of spring to go into slot in frame. I hope this helps. Thank you

How do I load JT21 staples into a Arrow JT27 Stapler gun?

I was having the problems everyone listed... with the staples loading & firing... I guess the instructions are lousy .. should be ON THE PACKAGE to make it clear.. but.. on the stapler itself on the bottom.. it explains how to correctly load.. you don't put the staples on the piece that slides out.. you slide it out, load the staples in the open tunnel ..then slide the piece back.. that piece is the spring loader... since i finally figured it out ( by coincidence that I turned it over & noticed some faint words printed) - it works PERFECT every time! great little stapler... please fix your directions... seems to be a common misunderstanding!!!

The staples should load in through the end of the hammer stapler. The end is spring loaded to push the staples forward, so push the end - usually a crome square - into the handle end then move that part up approximately 1/4 inch and pull back. The spring mechanism should slide out so you can add new staples. These staplers take a specific size of staple and a certain number to allow you to put the spring mechanism back into the stapler. If you do not know the correct size for your stapler someone at your local hardware store can help you find the correct size and they will probably even show you how to load it. Good luck!

power shot guns have dif crown widths bring the gun to home depot or lowes and match them up or get the model # off the gun

Refilling the staple gun

The staples do not go on the bar you pull back but directly into the bottom once you have pulled the bar back. I was trying to put the staples on the bar at the back and push them into the stapler.

Pull out the spring at the end of the gun. turn the staple gun upside down. Lay the staples in the track pointed side up, push in the spring slide so that it locks. You are ready to staple.

On this model, there should be a spring on the arm. Compress the spring and put the staples in. When you close it, the metal part on the end of the spring holds the staples tight.
