I have a HLT5075SX/XAA samsung and it turns on and works for about 30 seconds then the picture goes blank then 10 seconds later the sound goes out. what is causing this?

Also the 3 lights in front blink continuously. you have to unplug it and plug it back in to reset the lights and tv.

Sounds like the digital board needs replaced.

Manual says you need to replace the lamp: When do I need to replace it?
• It should be replaced when the screen becomes darker, less clear or when all three LEDs on the front (STAND BY/TEMP, LAMP, and
TIMER) are flashing

That model seems to have had a problem past and I would contact Samsung or a service engineer as it sounds in need of a repair to my mind.

helloFive blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly.

Samsung T.V. goes on for 30 seconds then no picture

If this is a flat panel LCD tv, this is a sure sign that the panel itself is bad. I have seen this before. Tv comes on works fine then within 5 minutes goes blank.

The first place to start is with the Main bd. The second cause would be the T-con bd. Have a trained Samsung tech troubleshoot to find out and repair the set.
