Yes, you can use a 2gb SD card with this. You can use any memory card brand, just make sure it's an SD card.

My camera will only take about 6 pictures with a 2 GB memory card, and then it says card full and wont take any more, what can i do? I reads on the screen that the sd card is in the camera and the card is...

it means your camera is still using the in- built memory in the camera. Follow the instruction manual/ user guide that came with the camera, to programme picture storage into the 2GB memory card. QED.If still not rectified, pass a comment. If satisfied, send a remark.

Hi,

Your Vivitar Vivicam 5385 accepts SD Card cards. The largest SD Card card you can use in your Vivitar Vivicam 5385 is 2GB.

This link will take you to an online store, the Panasonic 2GB SD card is £5.99 Delivered.

Simply insert this into the slot on your camera and you should be good for well over 800 to 1000 pics.

Best wishes and hope this reply helps.

Mike.

Is the vivitar dvr 530 compatible with sdhc cards

Plug the SD card with contact terminals facing away from battery. It most likely is using internal memory which is much smaller. All cards under 4gb are normal SD. The camera should be able to format the card, or use an adapter and windows will format (default settings).

Vivitar Vivicam 3715 can't format new 2gb SD card. Card OK!

What information is given in the manual ?
BTW, AFAIK, 2gb SD cards and 2gb SDHC cards are not interchangeable - do you have the correct one ?

My 3935 keeps erasing memory cards. All of the sudden, you get a white screen and the camera won't function until you remove the card. This has happened twice; both were Kodak 128 SD. The first time,...

i know it's not solving your problem, but at least it stop from happening again... You can protect images/video clips from being accidentally erased using the protect function in the Playback menu... see also: http://www.fixya.com/BrowseManual.aspx?prdid=218406&mpgid=843814&hlt=erase
