Hi, Assuming the bike has been run before you owned it, pull off the exhaust pipe and try starting it. If it starts and runs, don't let it it run much more than 10 seconds or so. This will tell you that you have a classical clogged exhaust system. The pipes on little two-stroke engines are very small and easily get filled with wet gooey carbon deposits. White kerosene is affordable and works good for cleaning. Plug on end of pipe and fill from the other end untill it is full and let soak for a period. The best approach is to take apart the pipe to clean really thoroughly. Hope this helps. Denis

Sounds like the tank vent, (gas cap ) isn't working.

You are going to need more information before you start this up.
You need to know whether it is 2-stroke or 4-stroke.
You need to know the manufacturer, I see some use 25 parts gasoline to 1 part 2-stroke oil. Other machines use a different proportion.
If it is this manufacturer, mix say 25 ounces of gas with 1 ounce of 2-stroke oil in a separate container and pour into gas tank.
If it is 4-stroke, you will need oil in the crankcase, not in the fuel tank.
Try to find the name of the bike/quad somewhere.

the gas sitting in the carb is "still" 2-stroke...there's a bolt on the bottom of the carb...DON"T remove it, just loosen it til the gas leaks out (about 30 seconds or so)...that is letting the 2-stroke gas out and letting in the right gas...make sure the bolt is snug..NOT TIGHT...and giver a few pulls...no choking is needed since it's already flooded from pulling on it...it'll smoke a bit and run a little rough, until it burns the oil mix residue out of the muffler...Now get a Sharpie & mark the cans... 8^)

i have i 50cc ATV quad and we have done every think to it and it still won't start but the fuel isn't going to the spark plug any one know what to do. ?

Try changing the spark plug making sure the gap on the new plug is at recommended specs.If the plug is black when you pull it out mix gas with a little less oil but not much as if it is to lean it can burn up motor make sure gas mixtured isn't to rich if you have to mix the gas and oil together yourself.

hi mate are you mixing the bike with 2 stroke if not buy a mixing bottle with a ratio of 32/1 on ebay and buy 2 stroke and mix it up with petrol and oil if not the engine will seize also take the spark plug out and give it a clean with a wire brush and check the gap is ok and then put it in the plug cover and put the plug against the cylinder and turn the engine over and see if there is a descent spark if not replace the plug good luck
