Re: Washer will nor drain or spin.
Lil, start by checking the drain pump. Remove the front panel by pushing in on the clips on the left and right side just below the top. The panel will pull toward you. You will see the pump on the right. Start the washer in spin and with a meter see if you have 120V to the drain pump. If you do and its not draining, you have a bad pump. Part number for the pump is WH23X10013. Catriver..post back.

Remove the front panel of the washer by using a putty knife to release the retaining clips, located in the seam between the front panel and the washer's top, about 2 inches in from each side. With an empty wash tub, remove the small hose on the left side of the outer tub and clean out the inside of the hose. Replace the hose. Test.
Hello Friend, your machine is neither Pumping nor spinning, that is why it is unable to drain the water out. In this case you should check the pump. Your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so you need to replace it. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. Do get back to us if you need any further assistance. Thanks
Check your motor drive coupler. Tilt washer back against wall and look between motor and transmission . You will see a rubber grommet and two plastic couplers on each end of rubber , They may appear broken or you will see rubber shavings under washer.
First thing is to remove the 2 screws from the console, they may be hidden in the front or bacl of console. After removing screws, lightly push the base of the console towards the front of the washer and pick up. This will expose your lid switch connection. Using a jumper wire, jump out the black and white wires then try advancing your washer into spin/drain. The culprit will usually be the lid switch assy.
