Question about Keyspan Computers & Internet
Keyspan driver is installed (Mac OSX 10.4.5) ibook. Connect device to Port 1, light flashes for approx 1 minute, device info indicates port 1 is in use but when the light stops flashing on the Keyspan, the device info blinks back and forth between port 1 9600 and port 1 available. It finally stops on Port 1 available. However, I am connected through port 1 so it doesn't make any sense. If I change the physical connection to Port 2, the light on the Keyspan flashes on and off for approx 1 minute and in the Assistant under Get Device Info, the same situation occurs but when the light stops flashing, the info states Port 1 available. I have uninstalled the driver, trashed anything related to Keyspan, reinstalled and the same situation occurs. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I'm ready to throw it out!

Hi -
Have you tried another USB port? Sometimes, they can act goofy.
Also be sure your anti-virus isn't blocking any part of the installation.
Here is a link to the Samsung troubleshooting guide for your camera.
You can probably download the most recent driver from that website as well.
Perhaps they have a better or newer version than what came prepackaged
with the camera (just because a camera is a new purchase does not mean
the software it came with is the most updated).

I run WinXP home edition, so I am not familiar if there are any differences in the professional version regarding software installation....
Good luck!

SOURCE: My iBook wont connect to my Linksys wireless G router
try removing the passkey and security on the linksys
then enable reverse authenication, by allowing only specific MAC addresses to access the router. ( MAC FILTERING ) ONLY ALLOW
then add the MAC addresses of your IBOOK and what ever else you have..
simple and secure :)

If the scanner is on a USB extension, they can be underpowered and will show up in the device manager but not work. This device like to be connected to a USB cord no longer then 4 ft or so.
