My stereo wont play a cd at all i have done everything thats said in the manual but dont know what else to do? the cd will load in normally and eject normally but just wont run any ideas?

Ok make sure the cd is not scratched and the head unit is cleaned and also make sure the cd player unit is grounded good and make sure none of the fuses in the red wire (12v) are not blown or busted

Did you get all of the CDs out of the player or are any still
stuck inside the stereo? Its the part about everything working
OK until a disc changed that makes me ask.
If a disc is jammed because it didn't load properly, you won't
be able to get all your discs out.
internal electrical fualt of the c/d changer, you'll need to send the changer into be repaired. your local GM dealership can help you with that. sometimes stereo shops can do the work a little cheaper.
You may have to remove the stereo from the dash, take it apart and remove the CD manually. If the CD still doesnt play with only 1 inserted, it may have damage to the laser. Happened many times to me.....

It sounds like it is attempting to read the t.o.c. (table of contents) which tell the unit where everything is on the cd,and failing to do so, then ejecting, the first thing to do is try cleaning the lens and if there is no change then replace the laser pickup
Per manual, you can lock a cd in by pressing and holding the power and cd button for moer than 2 secondsthe cd cannot be ejected. if acd is inserted upside down, please -eject appears.
