1. HORIZONTAL PULLING AND TEARING, MAY ALSO HAVE VERTICAL ROLLING OR VERTICAL BLANKING BAR LOCKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PICTURE. CHECK C2C52 10 UFD @ 50 V OFF THE BASE OF Q2C51 ON THE SIGNAL PCB. 2. CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 (9-VOLT REGULATOR) ON THE SIGNAL PCB

rotten eggs is cat gone, flutter is there is a loss in back pressure on the engine, this can happen if the cat gets cooled down to fast ie left on grass or snow. the cat inside will crack and as soon as you start the engine it fires it into the exhaust and damages the exhaust.
sorry, that problem occurs when an electronic component called transistor on horrizontal drive circiut starts to reverse currents or mulfunctioning.anyway you will have to see a technician to replace it for you at a cost
HI, need to see a picture of the line and need to know if you see it on all inputs and whitch ones are you using and does it do it on all of them.
If you cannot send me a picture then let me know what color is the line,is it from left to the right end of the screen and the top and the bottom of the line are they straight all the way horrizontally.
Wait your response then I will do my best to find the solution.
As I indicated (I think) in another string, this sounds more like bad connections than anything else. Try resoldering the pins on the convergence ICs. Let me know if that does not resolve the problem.
mt, the 6 to 8 lines you were seeing were most likley the prelude to the end of the monitor. If the problem only occurs when the screen saver comes on then I could say the driver maybe being corrupted by a certain screensaver picture or program. When the monitor warms up to a certain temprature the electronics start to fail. You may want to turn off the monitor while your not right in front of it to cool it down and prolong its use.
If you are able to see the picture in the LCD in black color and if there are no damages to the LCD -the LCD is fine.
There is a back light panel attached behind the LCD which may be defective.Check for the loose connections.
