DeLonghi DCH2590ER heater problem

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the power source: Ensure that the heater is plugged in and the outlet is functioning correctly. You can test the outlet by plugging in another device.

Reset the heater: Unplug the heater from the power source and wait for 10 minutes before plugging it back in. This will reset the heater's internal thermostat.

Check the fuse: If the heater still doesn't turn on, check if the fuse has blown. You can do this by opening the fuse box and looking for any blown fuses.

Contact customer support: If none of these steps work, it's best to contact DeLonghi customer support for further assistance.

That means that the switch is broken and is passing power when supposedly off. Claim on warranty, it is dangerous. If they say no, ask if there are any Class Action Lawsuits on it yet?

Check the thermal fuse of your heater and the thermo disc, if one of them is not working replace the defective part. You can test them by using a multi-tester for continuity with the main power of the unit switched off.

There will be a loose connection in either the plug or the socket. I would strongly recommend you stop using the appliance, as there is a risk of fire. You should have both the plug and socket replaced with quality parts by a qualified electrician.

Hold down the button that controls oscillation for two seconds. It is the silver button on the lower left.

If it is tripping the breaker in the panel, there is a direct short in the heater. Scrap it before it causes a fire. Seriusly

In the past I have nothing but problems with DeLonghi heaters. I replaced them with Pelonis heaters and have had no problems since. Pelonis heaters are availible from Home Depot at a very reasonable price. This is based on my experience only. Hope it helps.
