Question about Hotpoint Ultima WD72 Front Load Washer/Dryer
This seems to be worse on starting the first spin. Once it gets going it's ok. I have tried using the machine with no washing in it, then the spin is fine. I have also tried it with only one wet towel in it and it is still really bad. My model is actually the WD 71
Inbalnced load will cause it to shake also poss loosecondenser

Transit bolts not removed. also can be caused by motor not winding up gradually into spin - usually a motor tach fault. most likely cause is transit bolts

I have replaced the suspension and the top springs, the machine is level and not overloaded. The spin speed seems sensible but the motor still collides with the case on spin start up making a fearful banging.
The drum just seems to have too much poorly restricted movement.
I am about to give up unless someone out there knows a miricle cure!!
Transit bolts not the problem is the springs on the top of the drum that need replacing - where do you get them?
