JVC TV will not turn off

It may make more sense to buy a new TV

Tries the tv unplug,replug the tv back an hour later,let the tv reset itself back to factory setting.The tv should work now.Not,than the power supply board is dead.That the board,where the power a/c plug into this board.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

so, you have a television that turns off immediately after you turn it on.
It sound like your power supply on the unit is out. Because I don't know the value of your unit I cannot comment on replacing the unit. You may want to call to get an estimate on replacing the power supply before considering replacing the unit.

thats how my stared than got worse i call for service and got fix after 4 moths had the same problem and i called the same guy again at firs he told me that the convergence was bad and replaced them i think there are three pieces but than the second time he took the box inside the tv he checked all the circuits and the board and he found out the something else was getting real hot and was causing that the convergence to bad now he fixed hope i got no more problems
