I want to hard wire (not using any kind of wireless gadget) my ipod in to my car to the Kenwood KDC 334 CD player which is installed. I have pulled the Kenwood unit out and there is no obvious connection,...

The KDC 334 doesn't have any audio input, so there's nowhere to hardwire an iPod or other mp3 player into the unit.

I'm sorry, but the only way to get iPod sound to come through this head unit is with a wireless gadget like the iTip FM adaptor.

Kenwood kdc 241 cd player has power going to it but wont turn on!

there are two power wires on the deck, yellow is constant and red is switched. both need to have power going to them in order for the radio to work.

Playing copied cds

go out and get a cd player lense cleaner cd and let it run for the time it gives. It is more than likely a dirty laser lense. Good luck.

Toc error

i have had the same deck for four years and installed and removed from 4 different vehicles. the deck has been through some stuff lets put it that way. mine does the same thing as yours, i have found that you just keep ejecting the disk untill it reads. usually only takes a couple times and then mine works just fine.
